EMILY...
Emily began working in the theatre at a very young age, most often for her parents' company, Kevin Wood Productions. On leaving Oxford University where she gained a degree in French and Italian literature. Emily spent four years working as a production manager on films all over the world. But even shooting with Nicole Kidman in New York wasn't enough to keep her away from the lure of the family business. In 2003 she returned to the UK to produce pantomimes alongside her father. Maintaining the family feel of the company, Emily now runs Evolution with her husband Paul Hendy. Fittingly, Emily and Paul met during a pantomime run -Beauty and the Beast at The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury in 1997. Probably, their best production to date is their little boy Freddie!
PAUL..
Paul is probably best known as a TV presenter, having presented shows such as ITV's 'Wheel of Fortune', 'The Disney Club' and 'Don't Try This At Home' with Davina McCall. He is also a critically acclaimed author. His first novel 'Diary of a C-List Celeb' was published in 2005 and the sequel, 'Who Killed Simon Peters?' will be published later this year. Paul is no stranger to pantomime having written, directed and appeared in them for the last twenty years. He is very proud of Evolution's reputation for high quality productions and is thrilled to have achieved his ambition of producing at some of the best theatres in the country. Visit Paul's website...
